Rhinelander, Wisconsin native Chris Cook will be making his second trip to the Olympic Games in 2010. He finished 21st in the Sprint at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, Italy as a member of the United States Ski Team.
The 29-year-old began racing on ski's at the age of three. After graduating from Rhinelander high school, Cook attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. Cook won the National Championship in 2003 while skiing for the Wildcats. Two years later Chris Cook finished second at the U.S. Nationals in the 15K and a first place in the Sprint. Cook continues to focus on sprint events.
When he's not on the snow, Chris enjoys watching the Green Bay Packers, mountain biking and waterskiing.
