Known as the “fastest man in rugby,” Isles has used his speed to become a rugby star. Several of his internet highlight videos have garnered more than a million views. Originally a college football player and then a professional sprinter, Isles kept his Olympic dream alive by switching to rugby in 2012 after watching footage of the sport on the Internet. He competed internationally as a sprinter. He has a personal best of 10.13 seconds in the 100m.
His speed earned him a tryout with the Detroit Lions in 2014.
