Biography

With a slew of success on the World Cup circuit, Chris Corning is part of a group of talented young Americans on the rise in slopestyle.

Corning won back-to-back gold medals in slopestyle at the junior world championships in 2016 and 2017 (to go along with a gold medal in big air in 2016), all while having success at the senior level as well. Corning won the Crystal Globe in 2016 as the overall World Cup champion in slopestyle, and also earned a pair of medals at the 2017 World Championships (silver in big air, bronze in slopestyle).

While those accomplishments are plenty impressive in their own right, perhaps the biggest sign of Corning's arrival came at the 2017 Burton U.S. Open, where he placed fifth against a stacked field of international competitors.
