Biography

Daniele Hypolito of Brazil is a veteran of gymnastics, competing at the last four Olympics and winning Brazil’s first world championship medal, a silver on floor, in 2001. She led the Brazilian women to team gold at the 2015 Pan American Games and finished fifth individually in the all-around. She also won four golds and a silver at the 2014 South American Gymnastics Championships. She hopes to end her gymnastics career in front of a home crowd at the Rio Olympics.
