Biography

Montana native Maggie Voisin broke out on the freeskiing scene when she was just 15 years old. On the day of her 15th birthday, she recorded her first major contest podium when she finished third at the 2013 Dew Tour, an event that also doubled as an Olympic qualifier that year. One month later, a string of solid qualifying results landed her a spot on the inaugural U.S. Olympic slopestyle team as a discretionary pick by the coaches. Voisin also earned her first invite to X Games, where she captured a silver medal.

At the 2014 Winter Games, Voisin was slated to be the youngest American to compete at the Olympics since 1972. Unfortunately, she would not get the chance to take part in the contest in Sochi after breaking her ankle while practicing on the course.

The quest to return to the Olympics got off to a strong start when Voisin captured a win at the U.S. Grand Prix event held at Mammoth Mountain, the U.S. team's first qualifying event for PyeongChang, in February 2017.

Voisin ended the 2016/17 season ranked No. 4 in the AFP standings. Her career-best ranking was third in 2013/14.
