Biography

Maren Lundby of Norway won the gold in the women's individual normal hill event in PyeongChang. She finished in eighth place at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. She has competed in every world championships since 2009, where she was the first woman to jump the first time women’s ski jumping was included at the championships. Her best individual finish came in 2017, where she finished fourth. She won her only medal, a silver in the team event, in 2015. In order to best prepare herself for the 2018 Olympics, the two-time national champion decided to train with the Norwegian men’s team.
