Cochran-Siegle is a member of the famous "Skiing Cochran" family. His mother is 1972 Olympic slalom champion Barbara Ann Cochran, and he has an impressive list of uncles, aunts and cousins who have competed for the U.S. ski team. He made a name for himself by claiming the downhill and combined gold medals at the 2012 World Junior Championships. He is the reigning super-G national champion.

Cochran-Siegle enjoys biking. He won the 2016 Sufferfest, an annual 8.8-mile climbing competition for members of the U.S. national team.


The best advice he ever received was “focus on your skiing and results will follow.”


He tried snowboarding once, but said it wasn’t exciting enough.
