After missing the Torino Games by inches, two-time Olympian Debbie McCormick of Rio, Wis. will skip for Team USA in Vancouver.
By virtue of winning the 2010 Olympic Trials, John Shuster's rink will represent Team USA in Vancouver. Shuster won Olympic bronze in Torino.
Once McCormick and Henry step on the ice, there are no father-daughter bonding moments and no special treatment on either side. They have one thing in mind: bringing home an Olympic medal from their native Canada.
Jason Smith still calls out John Shuster for tricking him into curling. Shuster, the one who could already drive at the time, showed up at Smith's house tempting his buddy with a McDonald's run. They wound up at the Chisholm Curling Club.
