Ireland's Sean Greenwood loses control on his second run in the men's skeleton competition. Greenwood attempts to regain control as he rounds a turn but ends up high on the wall, eventually finding himself airborne. While Greenwood never actually lets go of his sled, he lands on his side, sliding down the track, momentarily in direct contact with the ice. Greenwood eventually rights his sled and finishes the run, seemingly unhurt. Had he not, the Irishman would have been disqualified from the event.
