The 2005 World Cup Champion is a native of Boise, Idaho. Peterson has been training at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Ca. since early October 2009. The U.S. Ski Team travels to San Diego once a year to train with the U.S. Navy Seals. When he's not training, Peterson enjoys surfing off the coast of San Diego and mountain biking in the foothills.
