At just 21 years old, this Carlsbad native has gone from "grom on the
hill" to superstar status. His gold medal win at the Torino 2006 Winter
Olympics made him an instant celebrity. He took snowboarding's highest
honors in 2007 with victories at Winter X Games Superpipe, as well as
the Burton Global Open Championship and the TTR Tour Championship.
White started snowboarding at 4 and learned the sport while shredding
at Mammoth and Big Bear as a child. When not training, the professional
skateboarder and X Games Champion travels the world competing and
representing both sports.
