Elena Hight hails from Kauai originally, but makes her home in South Lake Tahoe, where she enjoys eating at "Sprouts."
One of the young guns of women’s snowboarding, Elena won the bronze medal at the 2007 Winter X Games after landing the first ever backside 900 in female competition.
At age 16, the former Transworld Snowboarding Rookie of the Year looks to take home an Olympic medal this winter.
