The world's top slopestyle skiers converged onto Extreme Park at Rosa Khutor mountain on Monday, to check and test out the first-ever Olympic slopestyle course. This is the first time they're seeing the course, as the World Cup test event last February was canceled due to weather. Check out day one of training day from the Winter Olympics. The women's and men's slopestyle competition begins Feb. 11.

Nick Goepper was the first American to qualify for the freeski team. He won the iON Mountain Championships and came in second at the Copper Mountain Grand Prix.

James Woods, aka "Woodsy," has been predicted by the website Infostrada to win bronze.

Mayr made Team Germany after the German Ski Association successfully appealed to the International Ski Federation after Mayr did not initially receive an international quota place for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

Brown won the Copper Mountain selection event and is the first freeskier to win two gold medals at one Winter X Games.
Russ Henshaw - Australia
When Russ Henshaw was 15, he broke his kneecap in 30 places and was told by his doctor that he would have trouble walking again. He returned to skis and became a top alpine racer.
