Sergei Bobrovsky
Sergei Bobrovsky will be a major contender to start in net for Russia. They have struggled to find a solid goalie and he'll likely compete with Semyon Varlamov for the number one spot. Bobrovsky won the Vezina Trophy, awarded to the league's best goaltender, in 2013.

Evgeni Malkin
Malkin is one of the premier players in the NHL, and Russia will need him to perform like it if they want to win. He entered the 2014 season with 560 points. Malkin was on the Russian team in 2006 and 2010 and scored six points in each Games.
