For the second day in a row Norway's Marit Bjoergen found herself on the top of the podium after winning the sprint on Sunday. Bjoergen finished ahead of American Kikkan Randall. Randall also finished second in a sprint earlier this season.
Denise Herrmann of Germany finished third. It was the second time in her career she found herself on the podium.
For the Americans, Sophie Caldwell finished ninth while Jessie Diggins grabbed 12th place.

On the men's side Anders Gloeersen of Norway finished first. It was the first time in three years that Gloeersen's finished first in a World Cup event.
Finland's Martti Jylhae finished second while Sergey Ustiugov finished third.
