Chris Grover, Cross-Country Skiing Coach
Chris Grover replaces Pete Vordenberg as the U.S. cross-country skiing coach this year in Sochi. Twenty years of coaching experience, including five years in Sun Valley, should well equip him to direct the U.S. team to its best finish in a number of years.

Erik Fisher, Alpine Skiing
Middleton-born Erik Fisher has been skiing since the age of three. He has spent the last five years on the World Cup circuit. He qualified for the 2010 Olympics, but a broken hand dashed his hopes of his first Olympic berth. He is looking to amend this with a strong performance in Sochi. When not practicing on the Alpine course, he owns a shaved ice shop in his hometown.

Hilary Knight was the youngest member of the U.S. women's hockey team in Vancouver that took home the silver medal. Last year she was drafted to the Boston Blades. May 19th is Hilary Knight Day in her home of Sun Valley.

Born on a cattle ranch near Sun Valley, Kaitlyn Farrington has rustled up an impressive snowboarding career. Two X Games medals, a silver and gold from the iON National Championship, and finally a World Cup medal this year, the Salt Lake City, Utah resident has come a long way since her first ride in fifth grade.
