Local Look
Weiland was born in Palmer, Alaska. She is the daughter of Terry and Teri and has one brother named Andrew and four sisters: Annemarie, Amy, Sarah, and Alicia. Weiland played hockey in high school. She was the only female on the roster in the defenseman position, later becoming the first-ever female to win first team all-region honors in Alaska prep history.
