Todd Hays was born and raised in Del Rio, Texas and has competed in three Winter Olympics. He took silver in the four-man event in Salt Lake City in 2002. Hays retired from bobsledding after the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino but returned to the sport in late 2008. Prior to his bobsledding days, Hays was a linebacker for the University of Tulsa.
