U.S. Nordic combined skier Todd Lodwick crashed in a ski jump and was transported to a hospital to check for shoulder injuries in France on Friday, according to the International Ski Federation.
Lodwick, 37, qualified for a record sixth Winter Olympics for an American at the Nordic Combined Trials on Dec. 28.
