Meet Team USA: Soccer
Meet the women's soccer team that will represent the U.S. at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
The U.S. men's soccer team failed to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. After finishing third in the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament, the U.S. played a two-match series against Colombia for the final spot in the Olympic field. The team lost 3-2 on aggregate and will miss out on the Olympics for the second straight Games.
The U.S. women's soccer team qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games through the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament. The U.S. women won the tournament by defeating Canada in the final. The team did not allow a goal in its five matches.
