President Barack Obama received a standing ovation after he mentioned the U.S. Olympic Team about 58 minutes into his 65-minute State of the Union address Tuesday night.
The clip is the snippet from his speech where he referenced the Sochi Olympics, which begin Feb. 6.
“We believe in the inherent dignity and equality of every human being, regardless of race or religion, creed or sexual orientation,” Obama said. ”Next week the world will see one expression of that commitment when Team USA marches the red, white and blue into the Olympic stadium and brings home the gold.”
