Top archers to watch in Rio
Brady Ellison (USA)
Brady Ellison is appearing in his third Olympics, the most of any member of the U.S. archery team. His experience could prove to be valuable as the U.S. men look to build off their 2012 silver medal-winning performance in the Olympic team competition. Ellison is the first recurve archer in history to win three World Cup Final titles, but has not had similar success on the Olympic stage. He is in search of his first individual Olympic medal.
Ki Bo-Bae (KOR)
Ki Bo-Bae is the defending Olympic gold medalist in both the individual and team competitions. She is a favorite in both competitions in Rio and would become the first archer to complete the Olympic double in consecutive Games.
Kim Woo-Jin (KOR)
South Korea’s Kim Woo-Jin is the top ranked men’s archer in the world. He won individual gold at the 2015 World Archery Championships and is looking to win gold in his Olympic debut.
