WATCH: U.S. sailors Annie Haeger, Briana Provancha take samba class in Rio

U.S. sailors Annie Haeger and Briana Provancha are all smiles as they try and master the steps of Brazil's beloved samba dance.

With the 2016 Rio Games quickly approaching, Olympic training and preparation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is in full force. 

Experts in their trade, U.S. Olympic team sailors Annie Haeger and Briana Provancha seized the opportunity to make another pertinent preparation, one for a skill that they may not be so proficient in – samba!

Haeger and Provancha who qualified for Olympic selection in the 470, took to the dance floor for their first dance class in samba – Brazil’s most well-known rhythmical and cultural dance style – while in Rio for Olympic training.

Haeger, Provancha win selection to 2016 U.S. Olympic sailing team

The 2016 U.S. Olympic sailing team is complete with Haeger and Provancha earning their Olympic selection at the European Championships.
