U.S. gymnastics team is already winning the fashion Olympics

With their flag-inspired training leotards, the female gymnasts are representing Team USA with style

The five members of the U.S. women's gymnastics team touched down in Rio late last week and immediately got to work. Their daily training sessions will help them put the final polish on their routines before the Olympic competition starts with the qualification round on August 7.

Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Madison Kocian, Laurie Hernandez and Simone Biles already look ready to represent Team USA with pride. Rhonda Faehn, the senior vice president of USA Gymnastics, shared pictures on Twitter of the gymnasts' patriotic training leotards.

Under Armour, who is providing all the uniforms for the U.S. women's and men's gymnastics teams in Rio, has only revealed one competition leotard so far. But they have stated that every uniform will use the iconic colors of the American flag: the classic red, white and blue.

The three alternates on the team, MyKayla Skinner, Ragan Smith and Ashton Locklear, have their own patriotic leotards. The alternates train separately from the five team members, but are in Rio and staying in competition-ready shape so they will be able to step in if any athletes get injured.

Out of the training gym, the U.S. women's team, who are heavily favored to win gold in the team competition, rocked matching tank tops that need no explanation.
