Offered a choice between ballet and figure skating by her mother, Ashley Wagner chose the latter and hasn't looked back. Wagner is the 2008 U.S. bronze medalist and 2007 and 2009 World Junior bronze medalist. Her 2009 highlights included a third place finish at the World Junior Championships and a fourth place finish at the U.S. Championships. Because Wagner's father was in the military, her family moved nine times during her childhood and eventually landed in Alexandria, Virginia. Wagner is just a short drive away as she lives and trains in Wilmington, Deleware.
