Having discovered his love for skating at the age of 3, Simon Cho is the youngest member to be nominated to the 2010 U.S. Olympic short track speed skating team. He earned a place on the national short track training program in 2008, and he participated in two World Cup events during the 2007-08 season. The Laurel, Maryland native started training at the U.S. Olympic Education Center in September 2006.
