At first glance, it may have appeared that the lead guitarist for a classic rock band or a former "Saturday Night Live" actor won an Olympic gold medal on Monday.
It only seemed like the case.
Michel Mulder of the Netherlands led Dutch domination in the men's 500m short track speed skating race, taking the gold medal.
But immediately, it was easy to think that actor David Spade or Styx guitarist Tommy Shaw had won the race.
There's no word if Mulder plans an "SNL" appearance, or if he can sing the high notes to the harmony parts of the Styx classics "Come Sail Away" or "Lady."
