A Wisconsin woman is going to her fourth Olympic Games, but she says there's something missing.
"I haven't won a medal yet, and we're working really hard doing everything we can to get on the podium," said Debbie McCormick, of Rio, Wis.
McCormick's best finish came at the 2002 Salt Lake Games where her team finished fourth.
Last time around, in Vancouver, McCormick's group finished 10th.
"I'm prepared for a really intense Olympics. All the teams are the best in that country, Canada, the UK," said McCormick.
However, Team USA is loaded with veterans.
"My entire team has curled at the Olympics before, and that experience will help us tremendously."
Whatever happens, Debbie is thrilled to be representing the U.S. and Wisconsin.
"I feel such great support, being from Wisconsin, and in the curling community. They're so behind us. It's such an honor to wear the U.S. on your back."
It's been a dream athletic career for McCormick. There's only one goal left to achieve; to have some hardware to share when it's all said and done.
