Kris Freeman is one of the nation's elite cross-country skiers. The two-time Olympian was born in Concord, New Hampshire. Prior to focusing on cross-country, Kris was a Nordic skier and also a talented runner. He eventually chose cross-country and made his Olympic debut in Torino where he competed alongside his older brother, Justin. When he is training or competing, Kris, who suffers from Type I diabetes is a spokesman for diabetes awareness.
