Most likely one of the most popular New England Olympians, Bode Miller was born and raised in New Hampshire. He grew up in a cabin with no electricity and running water. He learned to ski at three years old in the state's ski region, the White Mountains. He began entering competitive races when he was 11. Miller earned a spot on the U.S. ski team when he was 18.
Despite poor performances in his past two Olympics, Bode is the most decorated male skier ever to come out of the U.S. He is a two-time overall World Cup winner and has 31 World Cup victories in 14 seasons.
