Three-time Olympic ice hockey player Angela Ruggiero grew up in Los Angeles, California and Harper Woods, Michigan. She graduated cum laude with a degree in government from Harvard University. She was a member of the 1999 NCAA national championship winning team. A star player on the U.S. Olympic ice hockey team, Angela won a gold medal in 1998, a silver medal in 2002 and a bronze medal at the 2006 Olympics.
