Dan Joye has been an American luger since 1995. At the 2006 Winter Olymipics in Torino, the Venezulan-born luger placed eighth in the men's doubles. His team won the bronze medal in the 2008 World Cup in the relay event. He also won the junior world doubles with Matt McClain four years in a row from 1995-1998.
