Alpine skier Mikaela Shiffrin recently graduated from Burke Mountain Academy in East Burke, Vt. The Academy is a boarding school for skiers that wish to purse their academics and skiing career. The school has produced over 130 U.S. Ski Team members and 29 Olympians. The 18-year-old rising star is considered a favorite to medal in the slalom in Sochi.
