Madison's Ryan Suter knows all about the Olympics. His father, Bob, won a gold medal with the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" U.S. Olympic men's ice hockey team. His uncle, Gary, was a two-time member of the U.S. Olympic men's ice hockey team (1998, 2002).

After winning gold with the U.S. National under-18 hockey team, Suter is making his first attemp at Olympic gold. Currently with the NHL's Nashville Predators, Suter spent one season with the Wisconsin Badgers where he was named to both the All-WCHA Third Team and the WCHA All-Rookie Team before Nashville drafted him with the seventh overall pick.
