Team USA: Olympic basketball players to watch

The United States is bringing a star-studded men's roster — arguably its best one since the 1992 Dream Team — to the Paris Games. Kevin Durant, making his fourth Olympic appearance, has become the face of Team USA over the last decade, but the additions of LeBron James, who last played at the Olympics in 2012, and first-timers Stephen Curry and Joel Embiid give this squad four NBA MVP winners. Add in imposing veterans like Anthony Davis and young up-and coming stars like Anthony Edwards, and this team is one of the Olympics' must-see attractions.

The U.S. women have a strong roster as well. A'ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart will be relied on heavily as the U.S. looks to win an eight straight gold medal; Diana Taurasi, who is competing at her sixth Olympics, and Brittney Griner will provide some veteran experience; and Sabrina Ionescu will be making her Olympic debut.
