The height of the net for men is 2.43m (8 feet) and the height for women is 2.24m (7 feet, 4 inches).

An Olympic beach volleyball court is smaller than an Olympic indoor volleyball court. An Olympic indoor volleyball court is 18m (59 feet) long and 9m (29.5 feet) wide, making it both wider and longer than a Olympic beach volleyball court. 

An Olympic beach volleyball net is 8.5m (27 feet, 11 inches) wide and 1m (3 feet, 3 inches) tall. The net divides the rectangular playing area into two squares, that is both 8m (26 feet, 3 inches) long and wide.
