Being the official mascot for an event as big as the Winter Olympics is tough work. But Tina the stoat is no slouch.

The cheerful ermine has delighted fans on site across northern Italy, and on the screen for those watching the Games around the world.

Tina — short for Cortina d'Ampezzo — and her brother Milo — for Milan (the official mascot of the Paralympics) — were elected the official mascots in a vote by the Italian public. And they've been pretty busy since the cauldron was lit on Feb. 6.

Tina had a blast at the Opening Ceremony...

The students from southern Italy that came up with the mascot concept should have an equally fun time at the Closing Ceremony after they were rewarded for their design with tickets to attend the big event on Sunday, Feb. 22.

Tina's met some new friends, including three-time Olympic medalist Pau Gasol...

And Ayo, the mascot for Dakar 2026...

Unconfirmed if Tina had any rooting interest when she attended the United States and Canada's epic gold medal game in women's hockey...

But it hasn't been all fun and games. Tina got an early start on her training for the 2030 Winter Olympics in the French Alps...

And she put in some solid work at the Olympic debut of ski mountaineering as plenty of course maintenance was required in the heavy snow...

It was hard work...

Tina has been all over northern Italy. She's been so popular that her plush likeness is one of the hottest souvenirs. In fact, the easiest way to get your hands on one may be to win a medal. Every medal winner is presented with a small stuffed animal during their medal ceremony. They seem to be the only stuffed Tinas around.

"We are talking to all our suppliers so there will be additional stock," local spokesperson Luca Casassa told Reuters.

With this level of popularity, Tina and Milo are poised to take their place among the great mascots in Olympic history. And get some rest...
