Olympic hockey faces off at the 2026 Games in just a few weeks, and Canada officially has announced the country's women's hockey roster for Milan Cortina.

The 23-player roster is led by Marie-Philip Poulin. This will be the fifth Olympics for the Canadian captain, who is in pursuit of a second-straight gold medal at the Games. A fourth gold for Poulin would tie the record for most gold medals in Olympic hockey.

Since women's hockey debuted at the Olympics in 1998, every title has been won either by the U.S. or Canada. However, the Canadians dominate the gold-medal count with five golds overall.

Team USA swept Canada in the 2025 Rivalry Series and is expected to duke it out with the Canadians for gold at the Games.

The Canada women's hockey team begins Olympic competition on Feb. 5, 2026 against Finland at the Milano Rho ice hockey arena.
