Monday night's finals session at the 2021 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials saw athletes named to the Tokyo team in three events: the women's 100-meter butterfly, men's 100-meter breaststroke, and women's 400-meter freestyle.

Eighteen-year-old Torri Huske broke her own American record in the women’s 100m butterfly, posting at time of 55.66 to qualify for Tokyo, where she’ll likely be joined by 16-year-old Claire Curzan, who finished second.

In the men's 100 breast, former youth phenom Michael Andrew backed up his pair of American record-setting early round swims to win the final in Omaha in 58.73. One one-hundredth behind him, former Division-III athlete Andrew Wilson claimed the second Olympic spot.

And in the women’s 400m freestyle, Katie Ledecky predictably finished multiple body lengths ahead of her rivals to officially book her place in her third Olympic Games. Paige Madden, three seconds later, touched for the other Olympic place on offer.
