What to know about archery at the 2024 Paris Olympics
Three-time American Olympic medalist Brady Ellison is expected to compete in the men’s individual event. Paris will be Ellison's fifth Olympic Games, and he will likely have an outside chance to win a medal with Turkish archer Mete Gazoz as the favorite to win gold.
In the women's individual competition, Casey Kaufhold will give the U.S. its best chance of winning a medal in Olympic archery. If she makes it onto the podium, she will become the first American female archer to do so since the 1976 Montreal Games.
