Perhaps no U.S. Olympian has had quite the meteoric rise as bobsled star Kaysha Love. Before 2020, the Utah native had not even competed on the ice track, but entering the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics, Love has as much momentum as any athlete in the sport.

A born athlete, Love tried her hand at a number of Olympic sports before finding her way to bobsled. She competed in gymnastics as a child and became a Level 10 gymnast before transitioning to track and field in high school. Love was instantly a star and excelled at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in the sprint distances. Her athletic success earned her an invitation to a push camp by USA Bobsled in October 2020. There, she found her true calling.

Love made her World Cup debut in 2021 and was named to her first Olympic team the following year. She collected a world championship bronze medal in 2023 with partner Kallie Humphries before taking her first World Cup win as a pilot in the monobob. Her ascent continued in 2025 when she claimed her first world title after winning gold in the monobob.

Love will be in action when bobsled takes center stage at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics starting on Saturday, Feb. 14, on NBC and USA Network, and streaming live on Peacock and NBC Olympics platforms.
