Mikaela Shiffrin is no stranger to rewriting history.
The Edwards, Colorado native became the most successful Alpine skier in World Cup history when she surpassed Ingemar Stenmark's (AUT) previous record of 86 World Cup victories in March of 2023. The 30-year-old will compete in one more event, the slalom, in Cortina. She's the medal favorite in the event, having won seven out of eight during the 2025-26 Cup season.
