Eight years ago, Red Gerard made history at the PyeongChang Olympics by winning slopestyle gold at age 17, becoming the youngest to ever win a snowboarding event at the Games. Now 25, he looks to return to the podium in Italy after 5th- and 4th-place respective finishes in big air and slopestyle at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.

Gerard has been inconsistent lately but should content for a spot. For slopestyle, he finished 2nd in the World Cup season standings last year and won the 2024 and 2025 X Games contests.

Gerard will be in action when snowboarding coverage begins on Thursday, Feb. 5, at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics on NBC and USA Network and streaming live on Peacock and NBC Olympics platforms.
