After the completion of Friday's third day of competition in the men's and women's curling competitions, here's a look at the standings for both.
Women's Curling
With an upset win over Canada on Friday, the U.S. women’s curling team has jumped into a tie for third in the overall standings through three sessions of play in Cortina.
Sitting 2-1, the U.S. is one of just four teams currently above .500 overall.
The leader in the standings is Sweden, one of just two unbeaten teams remaining. Sweden (3-0), bronze medalists in 2022, is just barely above Switzerland (2-0), by virtue of having played one more game.
The U.S. is tied for third with South Korea, the team they defeated in Game 1 of play on Thursday.
Canada, the two-time defending world champions, and China are both 1-1 and tied for fifth.
Denmark, at 1-2, is alone in seventh.
The three winless teams tied for eighth are defending gold medalists Great Britain, Italy, and Japan, the defending silver medalists.
There are still seven sessions of round-robin play remaining. Each team will face every other team in the field one time, and the top four teams at the end will move on to the semifinals, which will be played one week from today on Friday, Feb. 20.

Canada and Switzerland are both 3-0 in Cortina, and also happen to be the only remaining unbeaten teams.
Beyond the two at the top, there's a logjam of four teams all tied for third at 2-1 each: Great Britain, Germany, Italy, and Norway.
The remaining four teams are all under .500. The United States is seventh at 1-2, and the three winless teams - China, Czechia, and Sweden - are all tied for eighth at 0-3.
