Norway 10, Italy 7 (Session 1)
Both Norway and Italy had four-point ends in Sunday's match, but Norway's came when they needed it most.
In the critical 10th, Italy skip Joel Retornaz landed his final stone right on top of his other sitting stone, leaving an easy double for Norway's Magnus Ramsfjell. The Norwegian skip did his job, knocking both yellow stones out while sitting his own for four and Norway's final three-point lead.
Earlier in the match, Norway plated three in the fourth and Italy responded with four in the fifth. Ramsfjell's final throw of the fifth went into the rings, leaving both teams with three stones in the house. Retornaz took out all three of those Norwegian stones to give the Italians a 5-4 lead at the break.
Each team scored singles and stole singles in the sixth through ninth, sending Norway into the 10th trailing, 7-6.

Switzerland 6, Great Britain 5 (Session 2)

The two teams were virtually tied of all statistics. Switzerland barely outshot Team GB, 89-87 percent. Great Britain had a marginally better takeout percentage (83-82 percent), and they were even, both shooting 91 percent on draws.
But the Swiss squad had 40 takeouts to just 26 for Great Britain, and that seemed to be the difference.
