Eight points totaled in three ends helped Italy bounce back in a big way with a decisive victory over Switzerland.

The Italians were coming off of a loss to Canada in the third session of play on Thursday. But Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner proved on Friday why they're the best team in the world.

In the first, Italy was able to get three rocks behind two Swiss guards for an early three-point lead.

Switzerland answered with three of their own in the second, and stole another in the third to go up by one. But the team of Yannick Schwaller and Briar Schwaller-Hürlimann never scored again in the contest. The Italians put up four in the fourth, stole three in the fifth, and stole two more in the sixth for the victory.

Italy (2-1) will take on Estonia in Session 2 later today. Switzerland (2-2) will take the afternoon off and return on Friday morning to take on Sweden.
