The men's and women's 10km interval start free events capped off the final day of cross-country skiing World Cup competition in Davos, Switzerland.
On the men's side, Norway was back in full force and swept the podium in the event, just like in Trondheim, Norway.

Norwegian skier Harald Oestberg Amundsen finished 11.7 seconds behind his teammate to claim second place. Finally, Mattis Stenshagen secured the final spot on the podium after he finished 7.1 seconds behind Amundsen.
The Norwegians actually claimed the top-five spots in the race with Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo and Martin Loewstroem Nyenget taking fourth and fifth, respectively.
On the women's side, Norway also took home the victory.
Karoline Simpson-Larsen captured her first-ever World Cup win, after she crossed the finish line in 26:34.9 in the women's 10km interval start free. She never had even finished in the top five prior to the victory. Simpson-Larsen said after the race she hopes the win will secure her a spot in Milan Cortina.
Sweden's Moa Ilar finished just 2.1 seconds behind Simpson-Larsen to claim second in a very-close finish. IIar barely edged out Norwegian skier Astrid Oeyre Slind by 0.1 seconds to take the runner-up spot. Slind secured the final spot on the podium for Norway.
For the U.S., Jessie Diggins finished fifth and remains the overall World Cup leader. The previous week she took the final podium spot in the event in Trondheim.
After a break for the holidays, cross-country skiing competition continues with the Tour de Ski in Toblach, Italy on Dec. 28.
