Ahead of figure skating stars taking the ice for the ISU World Team Trophy, relive winning performances from U.S. skaters at the 2025 World Figure Skating Championships, which yielded three world titles in Boston, Mass.

Alysa Liu was the comeback queen. After two years away from skating, Liu returned to the world stage with a splash, becoming the first American woman to win the women’s singles title in 19 years.

During a weekend full of history, Madison Chock and Evan Bates added a third consecutive world title in ice dance. The American pair has won the world title in each season of this Olympic cycle. Of the championship, Chock said, “This will go right to the top of the list forever.”

Ilia Malinin capped off the event with his second straight world championship, landing a record-tying six quadruple jumps to accomplish the feat.

Malinin and the rest of the U.S. Figure Skating team will close out their season with the ISU World Team Trophy in Tokyo, Japan from April 17-20, airing on Peacock
