Pool swimming
The team of swimmers that will represent the United States at the 2024 Paris Olympics will be decided at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials, held June 15-23 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The 2024 Trials will take place inside Lucas Oil Stadium, marking the largest venue ever to host the event.
Every individual event contested at the Olympic Games will also take place at Trials. Olympic spots will go to the athletes that finish first and second in each event. Swimmers can also qualify as relay team members by finishing 3-6 in the 100m and 200m freestyle events.
No athlete is automatically guaranteed a spot on the U.S. Olympic swimming team. All spots must be earned in the pool at Trials.
