Triathlon returns to the Olympics with the men’s, women’s and mixed relay races from July 30 to August 5. 

Where is triathlon being held at the Paris Olympics?

The triathlon events will begin on a temporary floating pontoon below the Pont Alexandre III bridge, after a swim portion in the Seine river, the athletes will cycle a course through the heart of Paris, passing landmarks such as the Champs-Elysées. The final portion of the event, the run, will track back through Paris to the finish line on Pont Alexandre III bridge. 

How big is the venue?

Pont Alexandre III will have temporary stands set up for 1,000 spectators, but the races will be viewable for free at other points on the course.

How much will tickets cost?

Tickets for the starting area of the triathlon range between 24 and 40 Euros (approximately $26 to $43 USD) at face value.
